Jersey Giant

Jersey Giants are one of the largest chicken breeds, bred originally as a meat bird but also valued for their egg production. They lay large brown eggs and are known for their calm and gentle disposition. Due to their size, they require spacious coops and ample foraging space. Jersey Giants grow slowly but make a great dual-purpose breed, suitable for both meat and egg production. Their friendly nature makes them good companions in mixed flocks.
